SRINAGAR, MARCH 15, (KD): The Anjuman-e-Auqaf Jamia Masjid has announced that special night-long prayers and supplications will be held at the historic Jamia Masjid Srinagar tomorrow on the blessed occasion of Shab-e-Qadr.
According to the Auqaf authorities, Isha and Taraweeh prayers will be offered at 10:00 PM, after which devotees will engage in recitation of the Holy Qur’an, remembrance of Allah, and special supplications seeking forgiveness and mercy on this sacred night.
The Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, will deliver a repentance sermon, followed by Shab Khani (night-long prayers and remembrance) beginning at 12:00 AM onwards, InshaAllah.
The Auqaf has appealed to the general public to participate in large numbers and benefit from the immense spiritual blessings of this holy night by gathering at the historic mosque and engaging in prayers and repentance.
